Due to the Winter Weather Advisory and the greatly anticipated snowy commute, WDS will be closing at 4:30 this afternoon.

For our after school students:

Henrico County is on regular schedule currently.  As long as schools dismiss on regular schedule, transportation will be provided as usual for students by WDS.

Richmond City is closing one hour early.  We are not permitted to transport students when schools have made the decision to close for inclement weather, as stated in our communication yesterday.  

However, the after school staff will be in place from 2:00-4:30 PM if you would like to bring them to WDS for after care.

I appreciate your understanding as we adjust our schedule to try and make a safer commute for all of our WDS families and staff.

WDS Closing at 5:00 p.m. tonight -- January 17th, 2013

Due to the impending weather and the Winter Storm Warning that goes into effect tonight, Westhampton Day School will be closing this evening at 5:00 PM.  This decision has been made in an attempt to ensure the safety of both our students and staff.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.  If school hours need to be altered tomorrow due to weather, we will be making an announcement by 6:30 AM.

Accounting

In order to make the accounting portion of our office more accessible to parents, all tuition and payment matters will be addressed by the school accountant, Bill Jeffords.  His email address is accounting@westhamptondayschool.org.  He will be available in the office from 8:30-12:30, Monday-Thursday.

Keep in mind that tuition is due by Tuesday at Noon (for all full-time WDS students) and by Wednesday at Noon (for all After School WDS students). The late fee is $25.00 if tuition is not turned in by that time.

Intent Letters

You will be receiving your child's Intent Letter for summer & the 2013 - 2014 school year this afternoon. We are starting to plan for the upcoming summer session and need a headcount. These letters are due back in the office by Friday, January 18th.
