Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Workshop

Studies suggest that as many as 1 in 5 girls and 1 in 20 boys will experience sexual abuse before their 18th birthday.  Given these statistics, it is important for parents to be informed about how to protect their children from harm.
The Westhampton Day School has invited an educator from the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood to offer a workshop for parents about child sexual abuse prevention.
This workshop will cover basic information about
·
Signs of abuse
How to respond appropriately
Ways to limit the opportunity for abuse

Please join us to learn how we can keep every child safe.
